The Eagles Dynasty

Thorondor, Gwaihir, Landroval and Meneldor are the four Eagles brethren. Famous around VOW.

Thorondor being the eldest, he is the tallest and most agile. As an Aerialist he turned many ring matches into a Lightning spectacle, he has now returned as a Technical, adding even more refinement into his straight-forward fighting style.

Gwaihir, technical, is reknown for his swiftness and dexterity in the ring. Although his ability to hit out hard must not be underestimated given his expansive set of aerial moves, he is most skilled in controlling and subjugating his foe.

Landroval is the more traditionalist of the Dynasty. Combining Technical tricks with Aerial damage, he is a rather unclassic trad fighter, often surprising his opponents when they least expect it.

Meneldor, youngest in the family has not yet reached the minimum age to participate in regular matching. However, he has, as an Aerialist, proved his worth and most promising talent a few times in the Battles of Stamina, wherein he displayed agility, endurance and strength far better than any other of his age.

Thorondor's Eagle Specials

As Aerialist: SPECIAL MOVES

Lightning Bolt (Flying Cross Body)

Manwe, Lord of the Skies, Winds and Birds, is always ready to come at the aid of his beloved winged creatures. To bolt down one of Thorondor's foes with Lightning, is something Manwe will never refuse.
Maximum Damage - 28

Eaglesault (Lionsault)

An attack move performed in flight, the Eaglesault is a great move to not only intercept an attempt of evasion by the prey, but also immediately break all other hopes of escape the prey might have. As the victim tries to elude the Eagle with a move down against the direction of the chase, the Eagle can anticipate and intercept with a mighty and wonderful Eaglesault, transmitting the energy of the hunt into a totally different direction. As the Eagle makes his sault, he seizes the body of his prey with deployed talons, can connect with more and more saults that do disorientate, confuse and weaken the victim to finally, if necessary, use a more lethal blow like the Neckbreaker or Neck Snap to take the prey's life.
Maximum Damage - 26

Eagle in the Wind (Whisper in wind)

Sometimes the Eagle can be found lower to the ground, swiftly flying towards a prey. Carried and enhanced by the strength and speed of the wind, the victim will one moment see a black spot in the air and the next moment find itself enclustered in the Eagle's talons. Maybe not as damaging as the Eagle Splash, the fast and stealthy Eagle in the Wind instantly removes all hopes for the victim as the Eagle soars up again towards his den, where the prey can be sure of his life's ending.
Maximum Damage - 23

Eagle Dive (Diving Headbutt)

This move is the opening move of many Eagle assaults. As the Eagle circles in open air, he is rarely perceived by possible preys that wander on the ground unaware of the Eagle's danger. Once a prey has been spotted, the Eagle tucks in wings and talons and plummets down towards the victim. Few victims shall perceive the Eagle before he is upon them, and thus he can most freely deploy his talons before impact, seize his victim and soar up again into the air. The impact of the talons grip is often enough to blow the prey unconscious, and after this opening, he may need only one more Snap to end the victim's life.
Maximum Damage - 32

Eagle Neck Snap (Flying neck snap)

Unlike the Neckbreaker, the Eagle Neck Snap is not done with the talons but with the beak. After a successful interception with an Eagle Dive, Eaglesault or Eagle in the Wind, this move is the ultimate finisher. The prey is seized, writhing in agony and fear, often also unconscious, and unable to do anything against a powerful Snap in the Neck, capable of instantly entirely ending the victim's life.
Maximum Damage - 30

Eagle Splash (Top-rope splash)

One of the most forceful Eagle attacks, this brutal strike can be very effective to strike a prey unconscious. It is best performed when plummeting from the air, with Talons and Wings undeployed, landing with full body weight on the victim's body. Enhanced by gravitonial speed, the impact of this splash can be devastating.
Maximum Damage - 30

Eagle Neckbreaker (Flying Neckbreaker)

The most effective and most devastating of all Eagle moves, the Neckbreaker is plain and simple. As he intercepts his target, he deploys his talons, grips the neck of the prey and with only a swift and easy twist of the talons, the victim's neck is broken, thus immediately ending another succesful hunt.
Maximum Damage - 34

Thunder Strike (Superplex)

As the Lightning Bolt, the Thunder Strike is a weapon of Manwe, the Vala of the Sky. Increcibly powerful to shake Earth and Air alike, disrupting all navigation and survival skills of creatures within the Radius of action. Easy it can now be for Thorondor to find and kill his prey with a very low use of energy.
Maximum Damage - 33

As Technical: SPECIAL MOVES

Eagle Strike (Spear)

An easy but yet devastating attack, the Eagle Strike can be used on any strong prey that can not be instantly killed. As the target tries to evade the Eagle, the predator attacks him from all sides with beak and talon trying to slowly break away the victim's defence in order to launch a finishing assault.
Maximum Damage - 31

Lesser Eagle Neck Snap (Neck Snap)

The Lesser ENS is performed with more precision and less damage. If well executed, this move is very, very lethal although it doesn't match the more-airbased attack move. Also performed after a successful interception of a prey this move is most often used on large, weighty animals that do not submit to the power of the Eagle immediately. In such a case, when the Eagle, holding a moving and heavy load, is in risk of dropping his victim, the Lesser Eagle Neck Snap can prove the solution. Flight speed is drastically lowered(some Eagles even land on a rock or a tree), and with deft accuracy the Eagle tries to severe any blood communication between the prey's head and body. When succesfull, the Eagle has but to carry the now deceased victim to his nest.
Maximum Damage - 20

Gwaihir's Eagle Specials

As Technical: SPECIAL MOVES

Eagle Toss (Toss out of Ring)

Effective nonetheless, the Eagle Toss is a bit ruthless and cruel. After having seized his victim, the Eagle flies up into the open air, tossing his prey around and reseizing it again. The continuous damage done by the talons when throwing and catching mounts up and not many tosses are needed to blow the victim unconsciuous. Although mostly performed on not-winged preys, it is sometimes done with birds as well, a toss that is even more cruel as the hurt victim tries to escape in vain, only to be seized again.
Maximum Damage - 25

Golden Eagle (Rolling Germans)

The mighty Golden Eagle is the King of the Air and Wind. As he circles the sky looking for prey, many creatures on the ground flee and hide in fear when his shadow moves across. Few however can escape the Eagle's mighty pin when he has flew down to seize his chosen victim.
Maximum Damage - 24

Eagle Strike (Spear)

An easy but yet devastating attack, the Eagle Strike can be used on any strong prey that can not be instantly killed. As the target tries to evade the Eagle, the predator attacks him from all sides with beak and talon trying to slowly break away the victim's defence in order to launch a finishing assault.
Maximum Damage - 28

Shining Eagle (Shining Wizard)

Seeing the Eagle soar the sky in the rays of Golden Sun. As the sun's warmth and glare beat down, the Eagle picks also up the shine. Many an innocent rodent or small bird falls prey to the deception of the far-away beautiful Shining Eagle. Although the deception is not in beautiful or Shining, the Eagle is often closer than expected, and when realized that it's found his prey, the victim can seldomly evade the Eagle's deadly talons.
Maximum Damage - 31

Landroval's Eagle Specials

As Traditional: SPECIAL MOVES

Eagle Smash (Turnbuckle smash)

Few creatures survive a well-executed Eagle Smash. After having seized the prey, the Eagle may fly to a rock or tree and smash the prey's body or, preferably, skull against the stone or wood. Damaging and ending, the Eagle must still watch not to lose control of the victim or he might have to start the hunt all over.
Maximum Damage - 20

Eagle Drive (Pile Driver)

Seeing the Eagle soar down upon his prey is a mighty sight, but none as incredible as the Eagle flying on the Speed of the wind, slowly clapping his wings, incredibly enhancing his velocity. The victim can only try a few useless escape attempts, before being gripped and snatched by the talons in a powerful Drive.
Maximum Damage - 28

Eagle Deathlock (Scorpion Deathlock)

When caught in the Eagle's Talons' Deathlock, there is nothing left for the victim but to submit itself to the power of the Eagle.
Maximum Damage - 25

Eagle Whip (Irish Whip into the corner)

The Eagle Whip, performed with one talon seizing the prey, the other lashing out onto the victim, whipping it to death.
Maximum Damage - 16

Golden Eagle (Rolling Germans)

The mighty Golden Eagle is the King of the Air and Wind. As he circles the sky looking for prey, many creatures on the ground flee and hide in fear when his shadow moves across. Few however can escape the Eagle's mighty pin when he has flew down to seize his chosen victim.
Maximum Damage - 24

Eagle Strike (Spear)

An easy but yet devastating attack, the Eagle Strike can be used on any strong prey that can not be instantly killed.
